Natsuki Subaru, an ordinary high school student, is on his way home from the convenience store when he finds himself transported to another world. Determined to repay her somehow for saving him from his own despair, Subaru agrees to help the girl find something she's looking for.

After a massive alien artifact lands on Earth, Niko Breckinridge leads an interstellar mission to track down its source and make first contact.

Another World is an American television soap opera that ran on NBC for 35 years from May 4, 1964 to June 25, 1999. Set in the fictional town of Bay City, the show in its early years opens with announcer Bill Wolff intoning its epigram, “We do not live in this world alone, but in a thousand other worlds,” which Phillips said represented the difference between “the world of events we live in, and the world of feelings and dreams that we strive for.” Another World focused less on the conventional drama of domestic life as seen in other soap operas, and more on exotic melodrama between families of different classes and philosophies.

Yasujirou is the young heir to Kondaya, a money changing business in Osaka. One day, he wakes up to find himself in another world, in a flower garden in the purgatory between this life and the next. Realizing he is dead, he still harbors the love at first sight he felt upon espying a young woman whom he happened upon at Kozu Shrine, but whose identity is unknown to him.

While helping lost souls to get reborn, the spirit Gudo meets a girl called Yuri. He embarks on a 1,000-year journey to help her through her various incarnations to remove her Seed of Evil, a kernel within her that turns her into a monstrous Wrath if she gets consumed by anger. He learns that helping her find self-forgiveness for the tragic loss of her brother is the only way to save her.
